Birds in Bloom: accessory purchases + FOTD

I feel like if you all could see me right now you would laugh- I have on sunglasses, a crazy headband, big dangly earrings(see below :) and the plainest workout clothes I own haha and all I'm doing is working on this post, eating tacos and watching The Office! such is life of a hermit

It was my first day out to just enjoy myself and my summer vacation so I spent it with a book, an amazing vanilla ceylon tea latte, and some shopping. The afternoon was a little different than I expected it to be but the morning was quite pleasant. I wish I had brought my camera with me to take some photos of everywhere I went today but I decided I'd feel silly doing that so I'll leave it at the thought that I read for a few hours outside and pet dogs as they(and their owners) walked by.

Forever 21 Accessories

Nail polish- Coral, gold/brown aviators, shadow & blush palette, gold hinge bangle

I have a newfound love for aviators! or rather, I've resurrected an old love due to Sandra's love of her H&M aviators. After going through yet another pair of Wayfarers I decided to go for a different style since I tend to have fewer incidents with them.

Earrings Galore

I had coffee with a girlfriend then we decided to browse at a few boutiques across from the cafe, "just a quick browse" were the words uttered. Well, Francesca's happened to be having a deal on their sale earrings so I managed to find two pairs I liked before coming upon the pair on the far right. They were worn right after I bought them so I don't have the card holder they came in but just imagine it looks just like the pairs next to it.
[EDIT: the day after I posted this I wore the middle pair.. hot mama those things are heavy!!]

I just can't get enough of the wonderful boho feel I get from dangly earrings!

Small tip- if you have a smaller face, go for a slimmer pair(whether round or angled) so your face isn't overwhelmed by the earrings; on the opposite end, if you have a round face like myself, go for a pair with some angles.

And of course this doesn't mean they have to be squared off or you can't go for a round pair(look at the pair in the middle! nothing stopped me from getting those) but if there's an angle in there it's more likely to flatter a round face.
