Get to Know Me!

so I love reading posts when people let you into their lives a little bit so you feel more connected with them, which is why I want to let you all get to know me a little :) [I'm not nearly as serious as I look in this photo]

Name- Katharine, but I go by Kat and Katie most often :)

Some basics about me are that I'm 18, I live in southern California(born and raised California Girl :), and I just graduated with a degree in psychology. I love fashion, photography, writing, and a really good cup of green tea. My favorite places to go around here are Santa Monica & Venice, because it's a completely different vibe than where I grew up(on the outside it's a conservative, robot-like town where everything has the same Forever21 top and has recently attached feather extensions to their heads) and people like to showcase themselves, which is always entertaining.

 I definitely went all-out on my cap for graduation haha. The idea came from my friend Carly who decorated hers last year then did a DIY tutorial on it recently. Click here to watch it!

Some random facts-

I prefer Coffee Bean over Starbucks. This is shocking for some people who know me because I lived at Starbucks during fall semester(I've become really good friends with a few of the people who worked at my favorite one so it wasn't all bad :) but I like the environment of CB more and they make an amazing caramel latte.

I really don't have many girl friends but the ones I do have are pretty wonderful :)

My most-played song on itunes is a tie between Teenage Dream by Katy Perry and She's Long Gone by The Black Keys

I'm definitely a cat-person but I love all sorts of fluffy beings :)
